We've been besties since childhood and in a committed full-time relationship for 20 years, but the passion is gone: I've grown tired and it's time to move on from the theater and entertaintment industry. I've considered it for a while, but various practical considerations have slowed me down, the primary obstacle being that I never completed undergrad (dropped out after 2 years.) I can think of multiple different professional fields I'd be interested in pursuing, but basically everything that pays enough to be worth it requires at least a bachelor's of some sort. I have *zero* desire to finish a degree in theater - I know how to do the plays, thanks - so I have to consider either starting over completely or finding an alternative path to a new profession as a person with an extensive SM/PM resume but without formal credentials. I'm now in my late thirties, so the idea of starting over completely is . . . a lot.
