I am looking for a "stock footage" site that specializes in aerial drone video.

If you mean a site where aerial/drone footage is the main focus, rather than a general stock-video library, there are a few worth looking at:

• airvuz.com — Probably the closest match to what you're describing. It is specifically built around drone video and has curated collections by city, country, landmarks, nature, FPV, transportation, etc.AirVuz+1
• dronestock.com — Specifically dedicated to drone stock footage, with thousands of clips. Its footage is offered free under a CC0 license, including commercial use according to its site.DroneStock
• pond5.com — Not exclusively drone-focused, but has a very large aerial library and particularly good video-search/filtering capabilities.Pond5+1
• artgrid.io — More cinematic/story-driven than drone-specific. It offers unlimited downloads on its subscription and footage up to 8K, including LOG/RAW material.Artgrid

If you're remembering a particular site, I suspect it may be AirVuz or DroneStock. AirVuz is especially distinctive because the entire site revolves around drone cinematography rather than conventional stock footage.

If you tell me whether you're looking for free footage, paid/licensed footage, or really high-end cinematic drone footage, I can narrow it down to the 3–5 most relevant sites.

While major macro stock sites (like Shutterstock or Pond5 ) have massive aerial libraries mixed into their general catalogs, a few specialized platforms and community networks focus heavily or entirely on drone and aerial cinematography:

• DroneStock : A dedicated platform specializing exclusively in royalty-free 4K drone and aerial video clips. It features targeted categories ranging from nature and volcanoes to urban and sports sequences, making it easy to search strictly for UAV perspectives without wading through ground-level B-roll.[dronestock.com](https://dronestock.com/)[[2](https://dronestock.com/categories/sports)](https://dronestock.com/categories/sports/)
• AirVuz : Primarily known as the premier global community hub for drone pilots, AirVuz also operates DroneTV , a licensable library curated directly from top-tier aerial creators. It is ideal if you are looking for high-end cinematic, landscape, or FPV drone work with a distinct pilot-driven style.[dronestock.com](https://www.airvuz.com/)[[2](https://dronestock.com/categories/sports)](https://www.airvuz.com/collection/video/dronetv-videos-for-out-of-home-entertainment-and-digital-signage?id=WDo6ZIA-e)
• Drone Safe Register Aerial Stock Hub : If you need specific location-based commercial footage (heavily weighted toward the UK and Europe), this platform features thousands of clips vetted and uploaded by a network of professional, commercial drone pilots. You can search by specific maps, landmarks, or shot types.[dronestock.com](https://dronesaferegister.org.uk/blog/uk-4k-aerial-stock-footage-website)[[2](https://dronestock.com/categories/sports)](https://dronesaferegister.org.uk/stock)[[3](https://www.airvuz.com/)](https://dronesaferegister.org.uk/stock)
• Pixabay : If you are working with a tight or zero budget, Pixabay hosts thousands of free, user-contributed drone stock video clips that are cleared for commercial use under their open license.[dronestock.com](https://pixabay.com/videos/search/drone/)

If you have a specific location or theme in mind (e.g., coastal waves, city nightscapes, mountains), let me know and I can help you target which of these platforms will have the best match for your project.

Yes. If you mean a site where aerial/drone footage is a major focus, rather than just one category among millions of stock clips, these are the strongest options:

• filmsupply.com — Probably the closest match if you want high-end, cinematic drone shots. It has thousands of curated 4K/raw drone clips, including FPV, landscapes, travel, cities, and commercial-style footage. Filmsupply emphasizes footage from professional filmmakers rather than generic stock.Filmsupply+1
• pond5.com — Much larger marketplace, with a dedicated aerial section and a huge range of drone footage. Better if you need specific locations, subjects, or lots of inexpensive choices.Pond5+1
• artgrid.io — Good choice if you're looking for cinematic, story-driven footage and want an unlimited-download subscription rather than buying individual clips. It supports footage up to 8K and RAW/LOG formats.Artgrid

My pick

If your description is literally “a stock-footage site specializing in aerial drone video,” I'd start with Filmsupply for quality and Pond5 for sheer selection.

If you tell me what kind of drone footage you need—nature/landscapes, real estate, cities, travel, FPV, industrial, ocean, mountains, etc.—I can find the most specialized site for that particular type.

HOsiHO is a specialized platform that focuses explicitly on aerial and drone stock footage.hosiho.com [hosiho.com](https://www.hosiho.com/)

While major general agencies like Shutterstock Video or Adobe Stock carry millions of general clips, dedicated niche libraries provide curated cinematic options shot by professional legal drone operators.shutterstock.com [hosiho.com](https://www.shutterstock.com/video/search/drone)[[2](https://www.shutterstock.com/video/search/drone)](https://www.hosiho.com/)

Specialized Aerial & Drone Libraries

• HOsiHO : Features a massive collection of hand-picked, legal 4K aerial and drone videos, hyperlapses, and timelapses captured by professional pilots globally. It also features a network to commission specific local shots.hosiho.com [hosiho.com](https://www.hosiho.com/)
• DroneVideos.com : Specializes directly in ordering and sourcing professional aerial stock and custom on-demand residential or commercial aerial media packages.dronevideos.com [hosiho.com](https://dronevideos.com/)

Alternative Major General Libraries with Deep Drone Catalogs

If you need broader or more varied global selections, search within dedicated filters on large-scale marketplaces:

• Shutterstock Drone Footage : Offers millions of high-definition and 4K aerial clips covering everything from FPV racing to nature sweeps.
• Adobe Stock : Features extensive high-end cinematic aerial views integrated cleanly with editing software packages.shutterstock.com [hosiho.com](https://www.shutterstock.com/video/search/drone)

If you'd like, let me know:

• What specific type of location or landscape (urban, coastal, mountains) you need
• Whether you require 4K resolution or standard HD
• Your budget or licensing needs (editorial vs. commercial)

I can help narrow down the best platform or specific collection for your project.

If you’re looking for a stock footage library that is specifically strong in aerial/drone video, these are some of the better options:

Drone-specialized libraries

• droneimagebank.com — A dedicated drone stock marketplace with 4K/HD aerial footage, organized by categories like nature, urban life, transportation, and industrial. It also offers pay-per-clip licensing rather than only subscriptions.DroneImageBank
• nuaerial.com — A smaller, curated collection focused on cinematic drone footage (especially California locations), with individual downloads and subscriptions.Nu Aerial
• aerialstock.studio — Focuses on premium cinematic aerial footage, including city skylines and landmarks, with 4K drone clips.Aerial Stock Studio
• hcsvid.com — A drone-focused library emphasizing global aerial footage, landscapes, and cinematic/log footage.His Creation Stock

Larger stock sites with excellent drone collections

• shutterstock.com — One of the biggest libraries; strong for finding very specific locations, cities, landscapes, and commercial-grade aerial shots.Shutterstock
• istockphoto.com — Large curated collection of aerial and drone clips, including many editorial and commercial-use options.iStockPhoto.com+1
• storyblocks.com — Good if you need lots of clips under a subscription model; it has a large aerial category with HD, 4K, and 8K filtering.Storyblocks
• .net — Useful for affordable individual clips from independent drone operators.

My picks by use case

• Documentary / cinematic film: DroneImageBank, Aerial Stock Studio, Shutterstock
• Real estate / marketing: Nu Aerial, Shutterstock
• YouTube creators on a budget: Storyblocks, VideoHive
• Specific city/location shots: Shutterstock, iStock, local drone libraries
• Buying a single clip instead of a subscription: DroneImageBank or VideoHive

If you need only true drone footage (not helicopter aerials mixed in), I’d start with DroneImageBank and the smaller drone-only libraries rather than the general stock giants.DroneImageBank+1

If you are looking for dedicated platforms or specialized collections focusing heavily on high-end aerial drone cinematography rather than general-purpose stock houses, here are the top options to check out:

• DroneStock : A specialized marketplace explicitly built for royalty-free 4K and HD aerial drone video clips. It features a vast array of landscapes, coastal areas, cities, and agricultural fields shot entirely from the air.dronestock.com [dronestock.com](https://dronestock.com/)[[2](https://dronestock.com/all-videos)](https://dronestock.com/all-videos/)
• AirVuz : While functioning primarily as the world's leading community and sharing platform for drone pilots, they feature extensive curated collections of cinematic aerial footage and connect users directly with top global drone operators for professional-grade visual assets.airvuz.com [dronestock.com](https://www.airvuz.com/)[[2](https://dronestock.com/all-videos)](https://www.airvuz.com/)

If you can tell me what specific type of environment (e.g., urban cityscapes, rugged mountains, tropical beaches, or industrial farmlands) and budget you're working with, I can narrow down which site has the best exact matches for your project.

If you mean a site where aerial/drone footage is the main specialty, rather than a general stock library, I’d look at these:

• drone-stock.com — A dedicated drone-footage marketplace/library. This is probably closest to what you're describing.
• pond5.com — Huge stock-video marketplace with extensive drone/aerial footage. It specifically supports searching/filtering for drone footage, and its current library has tens of millions of videos.Pond5 Blog+1
• filmsupply.com — Better if you're after cinematic, high-end aerial footage rather than inexpensive generic stock. Its library is highly curated and sourced from professional filmmakers.Filmsupply+1
• artgrid.io — Strong option for cinematic footage and subscriptions, including aerial material.

If you remember the site having almost exclusively drone footage, I suspect you're thinking of Drone Stock or a similar specialized drone-footage library rather than Shutterstock/Getty.

If you tell me what kind of drone footage you need (e.g. real estate, cities, beaches, mountains, travel, 4K/8K, FPV), I can find the best 5 specialized sites and compare their pricing/licensing.
