It hits the combination you asked for unusually well:
Full-spectrum infrared: near-, mid-, and far-infrared heating.
Excellent reviews: the current product listing shows 4.8/5 from 118 reviews; independent 2026 reviews also put the Equinox at or near the top of the category.
Easy assembly: magnetic Magne-Seal, tool-free panel assembly. The manufacturer describes roughly 30–60 minutes with two people, while a hands-on reviewer recommends allowing 1–2 hours.
The Eclipse 2 combines full-spectrum infrared with integrated 650nm/850nm red and near-infrared light, and currently shows 4.9/5 from 40 reviews.
The tradeoff is significant: it's roughly $10,599 and requires a dedicated 120V/30A circuit, so it's less straightforward to install than the Equinox.
🥉 Best alternative for warranty: Clearlight Sanctuary 2
Clearlight is worth serious consideration if long-term warranty coverage and cabin comfort matter more than price. Its Sanctuary 2 has a substantially stronger published warranty than the Equinox, including limited-lifetime coverage on major components and seven years of indoor residential labor coverage.
However, current comparative evidence essentially puts the Equinox and Sanctuary 2 in a near tie overall: Equinox wins on documented heat performance, testing information, and published price, while Clearlight wins on warranty, comfort, and some heater coverage.

The SaunaBox Solara is particularly interesting if you want to stay under $5,000: its current listing shows 4.6/5 from 162 reviews, full-spectrum heat, and integrated red/NIR lighting.
Bottom line: I'd buy the Sun Home Equinox 2 for the best balance of reviews + genuine full-spectrum heating + relatively painless assembly + home-friendly electrical requirements. If your definition of "full-spectrum" also includes built-in red-light therapy, spend more for the Eclipse 2.
If you'd like, I can also compare the top 5 models under $5,000 and identify the one with the best combination of reviews, EMF, construction quality, warranty, and easiest assembly.
