OpenEBS is an open-source, Kubernetes-native container storage platform that lets you deploy stateful workloads by turning the storage on Kubernetes worker nodes into local or distributed Persistent Volumes. It provides automated provisioning, cross-cloud replication, granular per-workload storage control, and runs on any cloud or on-premises while avoiding vendor lock-in. It operates entirely in userspace (no kernel dependency), is the largest Kubernetes storage project with an active community, and is installable via Helm.
