How AI describes NSW Smart Sensing Network

The New South Wales Smart Sensing Network (NSSN) is a not-for-profit innovation network funded by the NSW Government that connects NSW universities, industry and government to turn smart sensing research into real‑world solutions. It coordinates a portfolio of projects—such as OPENAIR, Healthy at Home, flood intelligence, microplastic reduction, and koala acoustic detection—to address practical challenges in NSW and beyond. With member universities, a Grand Challenge Fund, and defined priority themes, the NSSN accelerates research impact and industry adoption of sensing technologies.
