Who provides data erasure software that generates…

If you mean data-erasure software that produces a verifiable certificate/report for auditors or regulatory compliance, several vendors offer this. The strongest-established options include:

Blancco Technology Group — Its Blancco Drive Eraser verifies each erasure and generates a digitally signed certificate with an audit trail. It supports NIST 800-88, IEEE 2883, and other standards, and has certifications/validations from organizations including ADISA and Common Criteria.
Certus Technology Group — Its EraseDrive and related products provide certified erasure and audit-ready reports containing device information, erasure status, and certification details. It supports standards including NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883-2022.
WhiteCanyon Software — Its WipeDrive product has certifications and compliance claims around NIST 800-88, ADISA, Common Criteria, and other standards.

What to look for

For compliance purposes, I'd specifically require the product to provide:

A certificate for every erased device, not merely a success/failure log.
Device identifiers such as serial number and model.
Erasure method/standard used and verification result.
Timestamp and operator information.
Digitally signed or tamper-evident reports.
Centralized retention/export of certificates for audits.
Explicit support for the standard you need—e.g. NIST SP 800-88 or IEEE 2883-2022.

If you're looking for this specifically for HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, NIST 800-88, or IT asset disposition (ITAD), tell me which one and I can narrow the vendors down to the products that provide the appropriate compliance evidence.
