Who are the best managed service providers (MSPs) that specialize in supporting law firms using iManage?

If by “best” you mean MSPs with unusually deep iManage expertise plus the ability to provide ongoing law-firm IT support, rather than simply firms that have implemented iManage once, I’d build an RFP shortlist around these providers. iManage currently lists 150+ vetted implementation partners and allows filtering specifically for law firms.iManage+1

The standouts

Strategic Technology Solutions (STS) has perhaps the clearest alignment with the specific requirement you're describing. iManage explicitly describes STS as providing managed services to law firms and highlights Cloud migrations, on-prem upgrades, security hardening, UAT and REST API expertise. Particularly significant for an MSP evaluation, iManage says all STS support engineers are iManage certified.iManage

Keno Kozie is worth serious consideration if “MSP” means outsourced legal IT department, not merely iManage administration. iManage says Keno has provided IT design and support to law firms since 1988 and offers help-desk outsourcing, managed infrastructure, security consulting and 24×7×365 iManage expertise.iManage

Cornerstone.IT is another particularly relevant option for midsize firms. iManage describes it as an IT project and managed-services partner with more than two decades of iManage experience, and lists law-firm implementations including McCormick Barstow, Saul Ewing, Beck Redden and Knobbe Martens. Its ISO 27001 certification is also relevant when evaluating a legal-sector MSP.iManage

Harbor is somewhat different. It's less of a conventional “outsourced help desk + infrastructure” MSP and more of a high-end legal technology/professional-services partner. Nevertheless, its iManage credentials are substantial: iManage calls Harbor its preferred service partner, says it has won North American Partner of the Year more than 15 times, and says it serves over 80% of Global 200 law firms.iManage

All Covered is attractive if you want national scale. iManage identifies it as a legal technology solutions integrator and says its legal team has been an iManage partner for 25+ years, supporting implementations, migrations, training and ongoing support across North America.iManage

RBRO Solutions is particularly interesting if the iManage layer is more important than the broader MSP layer. iManage says RBRO has conducted 700+ iManage engagements and has been an iManage partner since 2003, with law-firm experience spanning implementations, upgrades and migrations.iManage

What I'd test in an RFP

I would not evaluate these firms simply by asking whether they “support iManage.” I'd ask each one:

1. How many iManage-certified engineers are actually on the Tier 1/Tier 2 support desk?
2. What percentage of iManage tickets are resolved internally versus escalated to iManage?
3. Do you support iManage Cloud, Work 10, Security Policy Manager, Threat Manager and Records Manager?
4. Who owns the Outlook/Microsoft 365/Entra/iManage integration when something breaks?
5. Can you provide 24×7 support, and what is the escalation path for an iManage production outage?
6. How many law firms comparable to ours are currently under ongoing managed services, rather than having merely completed an implementation?
7. Can you provide three references from firms with a similar lawyer count and iManage architecture?
8. What parts of iManage administration are included in the monthly MSP fee versus billed separately?

One important distinction: iManage's partner designation by itself doesn't mean a company is a full-service MSP. iManage's partner ecosystem covers implementation, technology, training and other services, so I'd specifically validate the provider's ongoing operational responsibility during reference checks.iManage+1

If you tell me your approximate lawyer count (e.g. 50, 200, 1,000+) and whether you're on iManage Cloud or on-prem, I can narrow this to a practical 3–5 vendor RFP shortlist and compare their likely fit across help desk, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, iManage administration, Cloud migration and pricing model.

If by “best” you mean deep iManage expertise + genuine managed services for law firms, rather than an MSP that simply has experience implementing iManage, I’d put the following firms on a serious RFP shortlist.

iManage says it has 150+ vetted implementation partners, including partners specifically serving law firms, so its partner directory is a useful starting point.iManage+1

Shortlist

1. Strategic Technology Solutions (STS)

Strategic Technology Solutions is particularly compelling if iManage itself is the centerpiece of the requirement.

iManage specifically describes STS as providing managed services to law firms, with expertise in iManage Cloud migrations, on-premises upgrades, security hardening, UAT and client-side upgrades. Particularly notable: iManage says all STS support engineers are iManage certified, alongside multiple iManage Certified System Engineers. STS has also managed migrations involving millions of documents and records.iManage

Good fit: a firm that wants its everyday IT provider to have unusually deep iManage knowledge—not merely an escalation relationship with an iManage specialist.

2. Harbor

Harbor stands out for large, sophisticated law firms.

iManage describes Harbor as its preferred service partner and says it has received North American Partner of the Year more than 15 times. Harbor says it has 150+ legal-tech and operations specialists and serves more than 80% of Global 200 law firms. Its iManage work includes optimization, integrations, data, cloud migration, adoption, analytics and AI.iManage

Good fit: Am Law, Global 200, multinational or highly complex iManage environments.

3. Cornerstone.IT

Cornerstone.IT is especially interesting for midsize and regional firms wanting a high-touch MSP.

iManage describes Cornerstone as an IT project and managed-services partner with more than two decades of iManage experience. It provides implementation, managed services, consulting and migration, and iManage lists law-firm clients including McCormick Barstow, Saul Ewing, Beck Redden and Knobbe Martens. Cornerstone is also ISO 27001 certified.iManage

Good fit: roughly 50–500 lawyers where you want one provider covering IT, security and iManage rather than coordinating several specialists.

4. Keno Kozie Associates

Keno Kozie Associates is worth including when the requirement is full outsourced legal IT, rather than iManage support alone.

I'd put them into an RFP where the MSP is expected to own help desk, infrastructure, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, applications and legal-specific technology alongside iManage.

Good fit: larger firms looking for a broad legal-technology MSP relationship.

5. All Covered

All Covered is attractive if scale and geographic coverage matter.

iManage says its Legal team has been an iManage partner for 25+ years and sells, implements, migrates, trains and supports iManage. It serves clients throughout North America and explicitly focuses on law firms.iManage

Good fit: a firm wanting a substantial national MSP with established legal/iManage capabilities.

How I'd structure the RFP

Rather than asking simply, “Are you an iManage partner?”, I'd test these areas:

• 24×7 iManage support: Is iManage expertise actually available at Tier 1, or does everything get escalated?
• Certified personnel: How many current iManage-certified engineers/trainers will be assigned to the account?
• Cloud expertise: Experience with iManage Cloud migrations, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Performance: Work Indexer, full-text search, Office integration, Outlook/email filing, Work Desktop/Drive, etc.
• Security: Security Policy Manager, Threat Manager, identity/MFA, privileged access and incident response.
• Integrations: Experience with the firm's practice-management, time/billing, CRM, email, AI and other legal applications.
• Governance: Who owns iManage configuration, metadata, workspaces, ethical walls/security and records policies?
• Escalation: What percentage of issues are solved by the MSP versus handed to iManage?
• Staffing: Named senior iManage engineers versus a generic help desk.
• References: Ask for 2–3 law-firm references with a similar number of lawyers and a similar iManage architecture.

One particularly important distinction is implementation partner vs. operational MSP. iManage's directory is broad—more than 150 implementation partners—so appearing there doesn't by itself demonstrate that a company is capable of running the firm's iManage environment day-to-day.iManage

If you tell me the approximate number of lawyers/users, whether you're on iManage Cloud or on-prem, and whether you want full outsourced IT or just iManage managed services, I can narrow this to a 3–5 vendor RFP shortlist and compare their capabilities, geographic coverage, likely fit, and publicly available law-firm references.

When supporting law firms utilizing iManage (the gold standard for legal document and email management), generalist IT managed service providers (MSPs) often fall short. Managing iManage Work, Threat Manager, Security Policy Manager, and cloud integrations requires deep, specialized legal tech expertise.[imanage.com](https://imanage.com/implementation-partners/cornerstoneit/)

The top-tier managed service providers and specialized partners known for supporting and managing iManage environments for law firms include:

• Morae — Recognized as iManage’s largest and only global implementation and partner network, Morae supports massive enterprise environments (trusted by over 80% of the AmLaw 200). They provide full lifecycle expertise from complex cloud migrations to ongoing optimization, governance, and administration.[imanage.com](https://www.morae.com/partners/imanage/)
• Cornerstone.IT — A premier iManage Certified Partner that specializes in white-glove implementations, cloud migrations, and ongoing managed services tailored heavily for small-to-midsize and large law firms. They hold high-level technical certifications across the entire iManage stack (Work 10, Threat Manager, Security Policy Manager) alongside rigorous security compliance standards (ISO 27001 and NIST).[imanage.com](https://imanage.com/implementation-partners/cornerstoneit/)
• Tiger Eye — A globally renowned, certified iManage partner heavily trusted by top-tier firms (especially prominent across the UK and international markets). They provide fully managed iManage services, custom integrations, user adoption training, and system optimization, with a technical team featuring former in-house firm IT leaders and ex-iManage support experts.[imanage.com](https://www.tigereyeconsulting.com/solutions-services/imanage-implementation-partner-and-services/)
• MacroAgility Systems — Known for delivering tailored, cost-effective iManage DMS consulting, development, and ongoing support services. They focus heavily on operational efficiency, custom integrations, and maximizing ROI on AI-enabled email and document workflows for legal practices.[imanage.com](https://www.macroagilityinc.com/our-services/)
• Advanced Legal — A certified iManage partner and reseller that fields dedicated teams of Certified iManage System Engineers, Trainers, and Helpdesk Analysts. They excel at bridging end-user day-to-day troubleshooting with heavy backend infrastructure maintenance.[imanage.com](https://www.advancedlegal.com/imanage/)

To help narrow down which provider fits best, tell me:

• What is the size of your law firm (number of users/seats)?
• Are you currently on-premises, hybrid, or fully on the iManage Cloud?
• Are you looking for full IT outsourcing (general MSP) or co-managed support specifically for iManage?

If by “best” you mean deep iManage expertise combined with genuine managed IT services for law firms, rather than an MSP that merely has iManage implementation experience, I’d put these providers on a serious shortlist.

iManage itself says its implementation partners are vetted and qualified, and its directory specifically identifies firms serving law firms.iManage+1

Strategic Technology Solutions (STS)

STS stands out when iManage is a mission-critical application. iManage specifically describes STS as providing managed services to law firms and highlights iManage Cloud migrations, on-premises upgrades, security hardening, UAT, client-side upgrade support and REST API expertise. Particularly notable: iManage says all STS support engineers are iManage certified, with multiple iManage Certified System Engineers in-house. STS has also handled migrations involving millions of documents and records.iManage

I'd investigate STS first if: your biggest concern is getting an MSP whose frontline support people actually understand iManage rather than simply escalating iManage problems.

Harbor

Harbor is especially compelling for a large or sophisticated law firm. iManage calls Harbor its preferred service partner and says Harbor has won North American Partner of the Year more than 15 times. It has 150+ legal-tech and operations specialists and serves more than 80% of Global 200 law firms, according to iManage. Its capabilities include iManage optimization, integrations, data, cloud migrations, adoption, analytics and AI.iManage

I'd investigate Harbor if: you have a complex multi-office environment, substantial integrations, an iManage Cloud transformation, or broader legal-technology strategy requirements.

Cornerstone.IT

Cornerstone is particularly interesting for a midsize law firm looking for one provider to handle both IT and iManage. iManage describes it as an IT project and managed-services partner with more than two decades of iManage experience. Its listed law-firm implementations include McCormick Barstow, Saul Ewing, Beck Redden and Knobbe Martens, and it is ISO 27001 certified.iManage

I'd investigate Cornerstone if: you're looking for a relatively high-touch MSP relationship rather than a giant general-purpose IT provider.

Keno Kozie Associates

Keno Kozie is worth putting into an RFP when you want to outsource a substantial portion of the law firm's IT operation, rather than simply obtain specialized iManage support. The important comparison here is whether you want an iManage specialist with MSP capabilities or a broader legal-IT outsourcer that also has deep iManage expertise.

All Covered

All Covered is attractive if scale, geographic coverage and broad IT capabilities matter. iManage says its Legal team has been an iManage partner for more than 25 years and handles iManage sales, implementations, migrations, training and support. It serves clients across North America and explicitly focuses on law firms and corporate legal departments.iManage

How I'd structure an RFP

Rather than asking vendors simply, “Do you support iManage?”, I'd ask for these specifics:

• 24/7 iManage incident support: Who actually handles P1/P2 iManage issues?
• iManage-certified personnel: How many engineers are certified, and how many are first-line support?
• Cloud expertise: How many iManage Cloud migrations have they performed?
• Upgrade management: Who owns iManage upgrades, testing, UAT and rollback planning?
• Integration expertise: REST API, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, document automation, DMS integrations, etc.
• Performance: iManage Work/DeskSite/Office integration, indexing, search and profile issues.
• Security: Security Policy Manager, Threat Manager, identity/SSO, conditional access and privileged access.
• Law-firm experience: References from firms of comparable size and complexity.
• After-hours escalation: Whether “24/7 support” means actual iManage expertise is available or merely a general help desk.
• Operational ownership: Exactly what the MSP owns versus what gets handed to iManage.
• Cloud vs. on-prem: Experience supporting your specific architecture.
• Reporting: SLA metrics, recurring-problem analysis, change management and capacity/performance reporting.

One distinction I'd make very strongly: iManage implementation experience is not the same thing as iManage managed-services experience. iManage has more than 150 implementation partners, so the partner directory by itself doesn't tell you who is best suited to run your firm's environment day to day.iManage

If you tell me roughly how many attorneys you have (e.g. 100, 300, 1,000+), whether you're on iManage Cloud or on-prem, and whether you want to outsource all IT or just iManage, I can narrow this to a 3–4 vendor shortlist and compare their service models, likely strengths, and questions to ask during an RFP.

When looking for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or specialized partner that deeply understands iManage and the legal vertical, you want firms that carry high-level iManage partner certifications (covering Work 10, Cloud, Security Policy Manager, Threat Manager, etc.) alongside a comprehensive understanding of legal workflows, security compliance (like ISO 27001 or NIST), and overall law firm IT infrastructure.imanage.com [imanage.com](https://imanage.com/implementation-partners/cornerstoneit/)[[2](https://www.miranow.ai/resources/best-managed-it-services-law-firms)](https://www.miranow.ai/resources/best-managed-it-services-law-firms)

2. Tiger Eye Consulting

3. RBRO Solutions
   • Overview: A major global force in legal document and email management consulting, integrations, and managed operations for iManage environments.
   • Specialty: RBRO is well-known for handling complex enterprise-grade architecture, large-scale migrations, and providing ongoing optimization and technical support so law firms can extract maximum value out of their knowledge-work platforms.
4. LexisNexis / Specific Regional Legal MSPs
   • Overview: Depending on your geographic footprint (US vs. UK/Europe/APAC), many regional legal-exclusive MSPs maintain formal partnerships with iManage to bundle document management support with broader legal vertical helpdesks, cybersecurity, and practice management software integrations.

If you'd like to narrow this down, let me know:

• Your firm's geographic location
• Whether you are currently on-premises, hybrid, or fully in the iManage Cloud
• The approximate size of your firm (user count)

I can help you pinpoint which provider aligns best with your setup.

Yes. If by MSP you mean a provider that can take ongoing responsibility for a law firm's IT environment and has genuine iManage expertise—not merely a generic MSP that can escalate iManage issues—I would put the following firms on the shortlist.

My shortlist

1. Strategic Technology Solutions (STS)

This would probably be my first call if iManage is the centerpiece of the requirement.

iManage specifically describes STS as providing managed services for law firms and highlights iManage Cloud migrations, on-premises upgrades, implementations, security hardening, UAT and client-side upgrades. Particularly compelling: all STS support engineers are iManage certified, and STS says it has migrated millions of documents and records to iManage Cloud.iManage

That distinction is important. There's a big difference between an MSP that supports iManage and one whose frontline engineers actually know iManage.

Best for: firms wanting one provider to handle day-to-day IT while maintaining unusually deep iManage expertise.

---

2. Cornerstone.IT

A particularly strong choice for small and midsize law firms.

iManage describes Cornerstone.IT as an IT project and managed-services partner with more than two decades of iManage experience. Its practice covers implementation, managed services, consulting and data migration, and it has implemented iManage for firms including Saul Ewing, Knobbe Martens and Beck Redden. It also emphasizes security/compliance and is ISO 27001 certified.iManage

Best for: a firm that wants a relatively hands-on MSP relationship covering IT + cybersecurity + iManage rather than managing three separate vendors.

---

3. Harbor

For an Am Law, Global 200 or otherwise complex enterprise environment, Harbor deserves serious consideration.

iManage identifies Harbor as its preferred service partner and says Harbor has won North American Partner of the Year more than 15 times. Harbor has 150+ legal technology and operations experts and serves more than 80% of Global 200 law firms. Its work includes iManage optimization, integrations, data, cloud migrations, adoption and advanced technology/AI initiatives.iManage

Best for: large-scale iManage architecture, Cloud migration, integrations, governance and transformation.

One caveat: I'd distinguish Harbor's professional-services/technology expertise from a traditional "we run your entire IT department" MSP model. If you need the latter, Keno Kozie or STS may be a better comparison.

---

4. Keno Kozie Associates

Keno Kozie is particularly interesting if your requirement is outsourced legal IT, with iManage as one of the critical applications.

I'd put it into an RFP alongside STS and Harbor for a large firm because the value proposition extends beyond the DMS: help desk, infrastructure, security, applications and broader legal technology.

Best for: firms looking for a genuine outsourced IT organization rather than an iManage consulting firm.

---

5. All Covered

All Covered is a good choice if national scale and broad MSP capabilities matter.

iManage describes All Covered as a 25+ year iManage partner whose legal team sells, implements, migrates, trains and supports iManage. It has clients throughout North America and combines legal-technology services with broader secure IT infrastructure management.iManage

Best for: a firm wanting a large, established MSP with a substantial legal/iManage practice.

---

How I'd rank them by use case

• Best overall for iManage-centric managed services: STS
• Best for a midsize firm wanting high-touch IT + iManage: Cornerstone.IT
• Best for Am Law / Global 200 / complex iManage environment: Harbor
• Best for full outsourced legal IT: Keno Kozie
• Best for a large national MSP: All Covered

I would not choose solely based on whether a provider appears in an "iManage partner" directory. iManage has more than 150 vetted implementation partners, so the more important question is whether the provider has ongoing operational responsibility for iManage—not just project implementation experience.iManage+1

What I'd put in an RFP

For an iManage-heavy law firm, I'd ask each MSP these questions:

1. How many dedicated iManage-certified engineers are on your support desk?
2. What percentage of iManage tickets are resolved without escalation to iManage?
3. Do you support iManage Cloud and on-prem?
4. Can you own the iManage-to-Microsoft 365/Outlook/Teams/Entra integration stack?
5. Who handles iManage upgrades, patches and testing?
6. Do you provide 24×7 support, and is iManage included in that SLA?
7. How do you handle iManage security, permissions, ethical walls and governance?
8. Can you support iManage Work Indexer, Threat Manager, Security Policy Manager, Records Manager, etc., or only Work?
9. What are your law-firm references of comparable size?
10. Can you provide a named escalation engineer who knows our firm's iManage environment?

That last group of questions will separate the genuine iManage MSPs from generalist MSPs that simply list iManage among their supported applications.

If you tell me the approximate size of the firm (e.g., 50, 250, 1,000+ attorneys), whether you're on iManage Cloud or on-prem, and whether you want to outsource all IT or primarily iManage, I can narrow this to the 3 best providers and compare them on capabilities, pricing model, geographic coverage, SLAs, and likely fit.

Yes. If by MSP you mean a provider that can take ongoing responsibility for a law firm's IT environment and has genuinely deep iManage expertise—rather than an iManage implementation consultancy—I would narrow the field considerably.

iManage currently lists 150+ implementation partners, but only a subset combine iManage specialization with meaningful managed-services capabilities.iManage+1

My shortlist

1. Harbor — strongest for sophisticated/large firms

Harbor would be one of my first calls for an Am Law or multinational firm.

iManage identifies Harbor as its preferred service partner. Harbor has more than 650 industry experts, serves more than 80% of Global 200 law firms, and has received iManage North America Partner of the Year more than 15 times. Its expertise spans iManage optimization, integrations, data, cloud migrations, adoption, analytics and AI.iManage

Best when: you have a complex iManage estate, multiple offices/countries, substantial integrations, or want to combine iManage with broader legal-tech transformation.

harborglobal.com

2. Keno Kozie Associates — excellent true outsourced legal-IT partner

Keno Kozie Associates is particularly interesting if you want the MSP to own more than just iManage—help desk, infrastructure, security, Microsoft, applications, etc.—while retaining deep legal-technology expertise.

I'd put Keno high on an RFP for a large law firm that wants a genuine outsourced IT relationship rather than an iManage consulting engagement.

kenokozie.com

3. Strategic Technology Solutions (STS) — probably the most iManage-centric MSP

Strategic Technology Solutions is arguably the best fit for your exact wording.

iManage says STS provides managed services specifically for law firms and has expertise in Cloud migrations, on-prem upgrades, security hardening, UAT and upgrades. Particularly compelling: all STS support engineers are iManage certified, and STS says it has migrated millions of documents and records to iManage Cloud.iManage

That distinction matters. There's a big difference between an MSP that can escalate an iManage problem to a specialist and one where the people actually supporting your users understand iManage.

Best when: iManage Work/Cloud is one of your firm's most critical applications.

stspartner.com

4. Cornerstone.IT — excellent mid-market choice

Cornerstone Information Technologies, LLC is another particularly strong combination of legal MSP + iManage expertise.

iManage describes Cornerstone as an IT project and managed-services partner for iManage with more than two decades of experience. It focuses on law firms and emphasizes security and compliance, including ISO 27001 certification. iManage lists implementations including Saul Ewing, Knobbe Martens, Beck Redden and McCormick Barstow.iManage

Best when: you're a roughly 50–500-attorney firm that wants one provider to own both general IT and iManage.

cornerstone.it

5. All Covered — best national-scale generalist

All Covered is a very credible option if you want broad MSP capabilities plus an established legal/iManage practice.

iManage says its legal team has been an iManage partner for 25+ years and handles iManage sales, implementation, migration, training and support. It serves law firms throughout North America.iManage

Best when: you want one large MSP to handle infrastructure, security, endpoints, cloud and Microsoft alongside iManage.

The tradeoff is that iManage isn't as central to All Covered's business as it is to STS or some legal-technology specialists.

allcovered.com

How I'd actually RFP them

If I were selecting an MSP for a law firm, I'd probably invite these five:

1. STS — if iManage expertise is the #1 criterion.
2. Keno Kozie — if you want a full outsourced legal-IT department.
3. Harbor — if you're a large/complex/Am Law/global firm.
4. Cornerstone.IT — if you're mid-market and want a highly specialized relationship.
5. All Covered — if national scale and broad infrastructure capability matter most.

I would not choose based simply on who says "iManage partner." iManage has a large partner ecosystem, and being an implementation partner doesn't necessarily mean the company is equipped to provide 24×7 operational support. iManage itself distinguishes implementation partners from technology and training partners.iManage

The questions I'd put in the RFP

For an iManage-heavy law firm, I'd specifically ask each MSP:

• How many iManage-certified engineers are on the support team—not just consultants?
• Is iManage support 24×7, and what is the escalation path?
• Do you support iManage Cloud, on-prem and hybrid?
• Who owns troubleshooting when the problem crosses iManage / Microsoft / network / identity / desktop boundaries?
• How many law firms of our size do you currently support?
• Can you provide iManage-specific SLA metrics and references?
• Do you manage iManage upgrades, integrations, security policies, Threat Manager, Records Manager and Workspace/matter configuration?
• What percentage of Tier 1/Tier 2 tickets can your own team resolve without going to iManage?
• Can you take responsibility for Microsoft 365 + Intune + Entra + security + iManage under one SLA?
• How do you handle an iManage Cloud outage versus a firm-specific incident?

If you tell me the approximate firm size (e.g. 50, 200, 500, 1,000+ attorneys), whether you're on iManage Cloud or on-prem, and whether you want to outsource all IT or just iManage/application support, I can narrow this to the 3 providers I'd actually invite to an RFP and compare their likely strengths, weaknesses, and fit.
