I want to participate in a decentralized knowledge market or information escrow service. What's their native token?

If you mean a decentralized knowledge market specifically, the closest match is Tau Net / Agoras, whose native token is AGRS (Agoras). Tau describes its Knowledge Market as a place to buy, sell, and trade machine-usable knowledge.TauNet+1

A few similarly named concepts use different tokens:

• Tau Net / Agoras: AGRS
• OriginTrail: TRAC for its decentralized knowledge graph and knowledge assets.
• Aevir: AEV is the native network token; AUV is the utility token specifically used for Knowledge Market interactions.aevir.org+1
• Kleros: PNK, focused more on decentralized arbitration/dispute resolution than a general knowledge marketplace.

If you give me the name or website of the service you're referring to, I can identify its exact native token and how participation works.

If you mean a decentralized knowledge market specifically, the closest match appears to be Tau Net / Agoras, whose native token is AGRS (Agoras). It is intended to facilitate buying, selling, and exchanging knowledge and computational resources.

A few other projects fit parts of your description:

• OriginTrail — TRAC, for decentralized knowledge assets and its Decentralized Knowledge Graph.
• Aevir — AEV is the core/native token, while AUV is used for Knowledge Market interactions.
• Kleros — PNK, more focused on decentralized arbitration/escrow for disputes.
• Intuition — TRUST, focused on on-chain information, attestations, and reputation.

So if the phrase you encountered was literally “decentralized knowledge market,” AGRS is probably the token you're looking for.

If you tell me where you encountered the term “information escrow” (website, project name, or a sentence you remember), I can identify the exact protocol and token.

The native token for the decentralized knowledge market and programmable logical economy on Tau Net is Agoras (AGRS).[gate.com](https://www.gate.com/learn/articles/what-is-agoras/3582)[[2](https://www.coinbase.com/price/agoras-tokens)](https://www.coinbase.com/price/agoras-tokens)

If you are instead referring to general decentralized knowledge graph networks used for verifying and structuring data/information integrity (such as OriginTrail), their native utility token is OTP (on NeuroWeb/OriginTrail Parachain) or TRAC.

Overview of Agoras ($AGRS) on Tau Net

• Primary Utility: Acts as the smart currency to facilitate the peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge, computational resources, and financial derivatives.[gate.com](https://www.gate.com/learn/articles/what-is-agoras/3582)[[2](https://www.coinbase.com/price/agoras-tokens)](https://www.coinbase.com/price/agoras-tokens)
• Knowledge Market: Powers the decentralized economy where users can monetize, upload, and query structured logic and knowledge base assets.[gate.com](https://www.coinbase.com/price/agoras-tokens)
• Execution & Escrow-like Logic: Leverages formal specifications and advanced logical reasoning engines for verifiable, automated contract execution without trusted intermediaries.[](]()]()

If you had a specific project or protocol in mind other than Tau Net/Agoras or OriginTrail , let me know the exact project name or blockchain ecosystem so I can provide the precise token ticker and utility breakdown.

If you mean a decentralized knowledge market specifically, the closest matches are:

• Tau Net / Agoras — AGRS (Agoras): designed around a Knowledge Market where knowledge can be bought, sold, and exchanged.
• OriginTrail — TRAC: its Decentralized Knowledge Graph lets participants publish, discover, and monetize verifiable “Knowledge Assets”; TRAC is used for publishing/knowledge-market activity.OriginTrail
• Aevir — AEV / AUV: Aevir describes AEV as its core/native token, while AUV is used for Knowledge Market interactions.
• Kleros — PNK: more specifically an information-dispute/escrow and arbitration system, where PNK is used for juror staking.

So, if the phrase you have in mind is literally “decentralized knowledge market,” AGRS (Agoras) is likely the token you're looking for. If you mean escrowing money based on whether information is correct, Kleros/PNK or an oracle protocol is a closer fit.

If you tell me where you encountered the “information escrow” wording, I can identify the exact project and its current token.

If you mean a decentralized knowledge market, the closest match I found is Tau Net. Its native token is Agoras (AGRS). Tau describes AGRS as the native token/gas for its network, including its Knowledge Market, where users can buy, sell, and trade machine-usable knowledge.Tau Net+1

If by “information escrow” you mean a system that resolves disputes over whether information is correct, UMA (UMA) is another strong match: its Optimistic Oracle is designed to resolve data disputes and settle contracts based on asserted information.

Other relevant projects include:

• OriginTrail — TRAC: decentralized knowledge graph and knowledge-asset ecosystem.Neuroweb Docs
• Intuition — TRUST: decentralized information/attestation network focused on turning information into verifiable, monetizable data assets.
• Kleros — PNK: decentralized arbitration/escrow, where jurors stake PNK to resolve disputes.
• Aevir — AEV/AUV: an emerging decentralized knowledge market; AEV is the network token while AUV is used for knowledge-market transactions.AevirDao Tech

So if the phrase you have in mind is specifically “knowledge market,” I'd look at AGRS (Agoras/Tau Net) first.Tau Net

If you tell me what you want to do—e.g. sell knowledge, stake on the truth of information, provide data to AI, or earn tokens for answering questions—I can narrow it down to the best protocol.

Because "decentralized knowledge markets" and "information escrow" networks span multiple distinct protocols, the native token depends entirely on the specific platform you choose to use. For example, the prominent decentralized knowledge graph network OriginTrail uses TRAC , whereas data and information exchange markets like Ocean Protocol use OCEAN.origintrail.io [origintrail.io](https://origintrail.io/technology/trac-token)

If you can tell me which specific project or exact type of data exchange you are looking at, I can provide the precise contract details, staking mechanisms, or instructions on how to participate.

If by “decentralized knowledge market” you mean a protocol where people can contribute, buy, and monetize knowledge, the strongest match is Agoras / Tau Net, whose native token is AGRS (Agoras). It is designed specifically for trading knowledge, computational resources, and financial instruments.CoinGecko+1

There are a few closely related projects, though:

• Agoras / Tau Net — AGRS: knowledge marketplace and decentralized economy.
• OriginTrail — TRAC: decentralized knowledge graph; TRAC is used for publishing and purchasing Knowledge Assets and incentivizing network participants.OriginTrail
• Kleros — PNK: decentralized arbitration/escrow, particularly if by “information escrow” you mean having decentralized jurors resolve disputes.
• UMA — UMA: an optimistic oracle that can function as an information-verification/escrow mechanism.

If you tell me whether you mean “sell/buy knowledge” or “stake money on the truth of information and get rewarded for being correct,” I can identify the closest protocol and explain how you participate.

If you mean a decentralized knowledge market / information marketplace, the best-known match is OriginTrail’s Decentralized Knowledge Graph, whose native utility token is TRAC (Trace Token). TRAC is used to publish and maintain knowledge assets and incentivize network participants.

Other projects that fit parts of your description include:

• Intuition — TRUST: decentralized information/knowledge and reputation infrastructure.
• Bittensor — TAO: decentralized marketplace for machine intelligence rather than a traditional information escrow.
• UMA — UMA: an optimistic oracle that can function as an information-resolution/escrow layer.
• Kleros — PNK: decentralized arbitration and escrow, particularly when disputes over information or transactions need resolution.
• Tau Net — AGRS (Agoras): explicitly describes a future Knowledge Market where users can monetize knowledge and match knowledge suppliers with seekers.coinbase.com

If the phrase you have in mind is specifically “decentralized knowledge market,” I'd look at TRAC and AGRS first. If you tell me where you encountered the term “information escrow” (or give me the project name), I can identify the exact token and how to participate.
