What's the best platform to play 1v1 wagers for money in games like Call of Duty or FIFA?

If you mean 1v1 skill matches where you wager on yourself, the two platforms I’d look at first are:

• Players’ Lounge — supports both Call of Duty and EA SPORTS FC, with head-to-head matches and tournaments. It says it has paid out $200M+ and supports 18+ users.Players Lounge+1
• GamerSaloon — a long-running platform for cash 1v1s and tournaments, currently listing FC 26 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7/Warzone. It says it has awarded $120M+ in prizes since 2006.GamerSaloon+1

Important if you're in Arizona: both platforms currently list Arizona as a state where cash play isn't permitted, so don't deposit or try to circumvent the location restriction.GamerSaloon+1

If you're outside Arizona, I can compare Players’ Lounge vs. GamerSaloon on fees, payouts/withdrawals, available games, typical wager sizes, and dispute protection.

If you mean actual 1v1 wagers on console/PC games, rather than traditional sportsbook bets, Players’ Lounge is one of the most directly relevant platforms I found. It currently supports both EA Sports FC and Call of Duty, including head-to-head/cash competitions.Players' Lounge+1

• Players’ Lounge — supports EA FC 1v1 matches and Call of Duty challenges; the platform says it has paid out $200M+ and offers same-day payouts.Players' Lounge+1
• Skillz — legitimate real-money skill competitions, but it's primarily a mobile-game platform, so it isn't the natural choice for CoD or EA FC on console/PC.Skillz Support+1
• GamerSaloon — another established real-money gaming platform that is worth comparing for CoD/EA FC, particularly if you want more game formats.

One important distinction: sportsbooks aren't generally the same thing as 1v1 gaming-wager platforms. If you're in New Jersey, licensed sports wagering is regulated by the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement, while a peer-to-peer gaming platform has its own eligibility and rules.Njoag+1

If you're in New Jersey, I can specifically compare the currently available CoD/EA FC 1v1 platforms by fees, minimum/maximum wager, payout speed, supported consoles, and NJ eligibility.

For 1v1 real-money matches in Call of Duty or EA Sports FC (FIFA), the main platform I’d look at is GamerSaloon. It currently lists both Call of Duty and EA SPORTS FC 26 cash competitions, including 2-player formats, and supports head-to-head play for money.GamerSaloon+1

• GamerSaloon — closest match to what you're describing: direct 1v1 cash challenges, tournaments, and multiple CoD/FC titles.GamerSaloon
• Repeat.gg — not a current option; it announced that it was shutting down in 2026 and had already retired its 1v1 cash cups.Repeat.gg esports tournaments
• Skillz — legitimate cash-competition platform, but it's primarily for mobile games, not console/PC CoD or FIFA/FC.Skillz Support

One important caveat: real-money gaming rules vary by state and platform, so check whether the specific cash competition is available where you live. New Jersey, for example, has specific gaming regulations around wagering and skill-based games.New Jersey+1

When looking for the best platform to play 1v1 wagers for cash in games like Call of Duty and EA Sports FC (FIFA), the right choice depends on whether you want to play yourself or wager on yourself versus other players.1v1me.com

The top platforms dominating the competitive gaming and wagering space include:

• Players' Lounge : One of the most popular platforms where you play matches directly against other users of similar skill to win cash pots. It features robust support for EA FC/FIFA, Call of Duty, and other major titles with head-to-head wagers, regular tournaments, and deposit bonuses. Check out matches and rules directly on Players' Lounge.1v1me.com+2
• Checkmate Gaming (CMG) : A massive staple in the console and PC competitive community for Call of Duty wagers and tournaments. CMG relies heavily on user-reported scores, automated stat tracking, and integrated rulesets for head-to-head cash matches. Explore ladders and cash matches via Checkmate Gaming.checkmategaming.com
• 1v1Me : Great if you want head-to-head action or low-fee staking, though it's important to note their ecosystem heavily emphasizes a mix of playing yourself and backing top-tier talent/streamers depending on the specific mode and featured setup. Learn more on 1v1Me.1v1me.com+2
• GamerSaloon : One of the longest-running real-money video game tournament and 1v1 sites. It functions similarly to Players' Lounge/CMG by pairing you up for direct head-to-head console and mobile matches. Check out the platform at GamerSaloon.1v1me.com+1

A quick tip for playing on self-hosted platforms like CMG or Players' Lounge: Always record/clip your gameplay or keep screenshots of the final score screen. Disputed match results happen frequently when playing random opponents for money, and having video proof is your only protection against false loss reports.1v1me.com

If you want to narrow this down, let me know:

• Which specific game (Call of Duty or EA FC) and game mode you plan to play
• What gaming platform/console you use (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC)

I can give you tips on avoiding match disputes and finding active lobbies on your preferred platform.

When it comes to playing 1v1 cash matches and wagers for console/PC titles like Call of Duty and EA Sports FIFA (now EA Sports FC ), the competitive landscape shifted heavily following the closure of MLG GameBattles.

The top dedicated platforms utilized for direct 1v1 peer-to-peer cash wagers, ladders, and tournaments include:

• 1. Checkmate Gaming (CMG) : Widely regarded as the leading go-to platform for custom 1v1 and team cash wagers. It supports rapid matchmaking, automated or submitted score reporting, ladders, and daily cash tournaments across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC for games like Call of Duty and sports titles.checkmategaming.com+2
• 1. Players Lounge : A major competitor that allows players to queue up for 1v1 matches or custom wagers. It features an intuitive interface and automated API integration for select games to verify match results, making the dispute process smoother than older legacy forums.
• 1. GamerSaloon : One of the oldest running cash-gaming and wagering platforms on the market. It maintains a dedicated community for head-to-head console challenges and tournaments, though its user base for specific modern shooter titles can sometimes be smaller than CMG's.
• 1. Repeat.gg : Primarily focused on automated tournaments and ladders rather than direct 1v1 custom lobby challenges, but it's a popular alternative if you prefer playing your regular matches and earning cash based on your leaderboard placement.

Note on safety/disputes: On all of these peer-to-peer wagering sites, video/screenshot proof is mandatory. Always capture clips or take end-of-match screenshots in case your opponent disputes the score.

Are you planning to play mostly Call of Duty or FIFA (EA FC) , and which platform (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC ) are you playing on? I can give you a better breakdown of which site currently has the most active 1v1 community for your specific game.

If you mean head-to-head skill matches where you and another player each put up money, rather than betting on professional esports, GamerSaloon is probably the best fit right now.

My picks

• 🥇 GamerSaloon — Best overall for COD + EA Sports FC/FIFA-style 1v1s. It specifically supports head-to-head real-money matches, and its current game list includes Call of Duty: Warzone 3.0 and FC 26.GamerSaloon+1
• 🥈 Skillz — Legitimate skill-gaming platform with cash competitions, but it's primarily built around its own mobile games rather than console COD/FC.Skillz Support
• Traditional esports sportsbooks — Better if you want to bet on professional COD matches, not challenge another individual to a 1v1.Dot Esports

For what you're describing, I'd start with GamerSaloon. It acts as the intermediary: both players fund the challenge, the money is held in escrow, and the winner receives the prize after the result is verified.GamerSaloon

One important caveat: cash-play legality depends on where you're physically located and can change by state. GamerSaloon's current terms prohibit fee-based tournaments in several states, and you must comply with your local law.GamerSaloon

If you tell me what game (COD or FC), platform (Xbox/PlayStation/PC), and roughly how much you want to wager per match ($5, $10, $50, etc.), I can compare the best options for exactly that setup.

Checkmate Gaming (CMG) and Players' Lounge are the top platforms for playing direct 1v1 skill-based cash wagers yourself, whereas 1v1Me is the leading app if you want to stake money on live-streamed matches or professional players.checkmategaming.com+5

Choosing the right platform depends entirely on whether you intend to play the matches yourself or bet on others.

Top Platforms to Play Yourself (Head-to-Head Wagers)

• Checkmate Gaming (CMG): Widely considered the most active traditional matchfinder network for direct 1v1 wagers, tournaments, and ladders in titles like Call of Duty. It handles dispute resolutions, custom rules, and score submissions.checkmategaming.com+3
• Players' Lounge : A major competitor that lets you queue up for head-to-head cash matches across popular console and PC titles. It matches you with opponents based on skill level and handles fast PvP payouts.apps.apple.com+2

Top Platform to Watch and Stake on Others

• 1v1Me : If you meant staking money on live 1v1 matches rather than playing yourself, this app lets you wager on active competitors and pro players in real time with rapid payouts.youtube.com+3

If you want to narrow this down, tell me:

• Are you planning to play the matches yourself or bet on other players?
• What specific game (e.g., Call of Duty, EA Sports FC / FIFA, Madden) are you playing?

I can give you specific rules, matchmaking tips, and fee breakdowns for your choice.
