I am constantly losing my keys and wallet. Who sells Bluetooth trackers with replaceable batteries?

Apple, Life360 (Tile), and Chipolo are the primary major brands that sell Bluetooth trackers featuring user-replaceable batteries.

Top Options for Keys and Wallets

Apple AirTag: Features an easy-to-replace, twist-off CR2032 coin cell battery . While shaped like a small disk best suited for keychains, third-party wallet card inserts allow you to slide an AirTag flat into a billfold. It relies on Apple's massive global Find My network.

Life360 Tile Pro: Tile's rugged flagship tracker comes with a 1-year user-replaceable battery (CR2032 or CR927 depending on the exact generation). It works natively across both iOS and Android, featuring a loud ringer and a keyring hole.

If you want to narrow this down, tell me:

• Are you using an iPhone or an Android phone?
• Do you prefer a traditional keyring fob or a flat, card-shaped tracker for your wallet?

I can help you pick the exact model that fits your gear.

Yes. If replaceable batteries are a priority, there are several good options.

• Chipolo POP — uses a replaceable CR2032 coin battery rated for up to about a year. It works with either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, so it’s a good choice for keys.Chipolo+1

• Chipolo POP - $29.00 (Chipolo)

• Tile Pro — uses a replaceable battery and is designed particularly for keyrings. It uses Tile/Life360's finding network rather than Apple Find My or Google Find Hub.Tom's Guide+1

• Apple AirTag — uses a replaceable CR2032 battery and is a natural choice if you have an iPhone.Engadget

For your wallet

This is the catch: the current popular card-shaped trackers generally don't have replaceable batteries. For example, Chipolo CARD and Pebblebee Card 5 are rechargeable.Pebblebee Help Center+1

So, if you want replaceable batteries for both keys and wallet, I'd look at a Chipolo POP for your keys and either accept a rechargeable card tracker for the wallet or use a small replaceable-battery tracker in a wallet compartment.

If you tell me whether you use iPhone or Android, I can narrow this down to the best 2–3 options and current prices.

Several major tech and accessory brands manufacture Bluetooth trackers that use easily replaceable coin-cell batteries (like CR2032 or CR1632).nytimes.com+1

Because you mentioned losing both keys and a wallet, keep in mind a quick quirk: key fob-style trackers almost always have replaceable coin batteries, while ultra-slim wallet/card-style trackers usually rely on rechargeable internal batteries (via USB-C or wireless charging) because they are too thin to house a thick coin cell.engadget.com

Are you primarily using an iPhone or an Android device , so we can narrow down which tracking ecosystem will work best for your phone?

Yes. If replaceable batteries are important, there are several good options currently available:

• Chipolo POP — Uses a replaceable CR2032 battery rated for up to a year. It works with Apple Find My on iPhone or Google Find Hub on Android, so it’s a particularly flexible choice.Chipolo+1

For your keys + wallet

I'd use a round keyring tracker on your keys and a thin card-style tracker in your wallet. One caveat: many current card trackers use rechargeable or non-replaceable batteries, so the replaceable-battery requirement limits wallet-sized options.

If you tell me whether you have an iPhone or Android, I can narrow this down to the best key + wallet two-tracker setup and current prices.

Several major brands manufacture Bluetooth trackers that feature user-replaceable batteries. However, keep a key distinction in mind: keychain trackers almost always have replaceable coin-cell batteries (like CR2032s), whereas ultra-thin wallet trackers (shaped like credit cards) are usually sealed and rechargeable due to space constraints.

Top options with replaceable batteries for your keys and wallet setup include:

1. • Tile (by Life360): The [Tile Pro ](https://www.life360.com/en-us/tile-trackers/product/pro-2-pack-black?srsltid=AfmBOoqsFdOUp38cYC1JePwbRkBRT3YSq6KmVCt8r_X58jjE8uw4bsmwuA0) and certain older/standard Tile models feature a user-replaceable CR2032 coin-cell battery that lasts up to a year . Note: Tile's wallet-specific shape (Tile Slim ) is non-replaceable and rechargeable-sealed, so you would need to slip a small keychain Tile or a third-party holder into your bag/wallet if you strictly want a replaceable battery system.[1]
2. • Chipolo: The Chipolo ONE series (great for keyrings) features an easy-to-change CR2032 battery. Like Tile, their ultra-thin wallet card ([Chipolo Card Spot ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVJgLRB-X_Q) ) relies on a non-replaceable, rechargeable battery structure to keep it thin enough for a billfold.youtube.com+2
3. • Samsung: The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 features a durable, ring-shaped design with an IP67/IP68 water-resistance rating and a user-replaceable CR2032 battery that lasts anywhere from 500 to 700 days. (Note: Ecosystem-locked to Samsung Galaxy devices).youtube.com+2
4. • Apple: The Apple AirTag uses a standard user-replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery that lasts about a year. While round and thick for a traditional wallet, many people use specialized slim wallet cases or sleeves designed to hold an AirTag.youtube.com+1

To help narrow down the best choice for you:

• What phone do you use (iPhone or Android)?
• Would you prefer a slightly thicker tracker in your wallet if it means swapping a battery instead of recharging or replacing the whole card?

Yes. If replaceable batteries are your priority, there are several good options:

• Chipolo POP — probably my top pick. It uses a standard CR2032 replaceable battery, rated for about a year, and works with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. Current listings are around $29.Chipolo Support+1

• Chipolo POP - $29.00 (Chipolo)

• Tile Mate — a straightforward key/bag tracker with a replaceable battery on the older/current Mate models. A current listing is about $25.

• Tile Mate (2022) - $24.99 (Target)

• Rolling Square AirNotch Pro — specifically designed with a replaceable battery and comes in versions compatible with Apple and/or Android networks. It's around $40.

• AirNotch Pro Dual - $39.90 (Rolling Square)

For your keys + wallet

I'd do Chipolo POP for your keys and a rechargeable card-style tracker for your wallet. Unfortunately, the current Chipolo CARD uses a rechargeable battery rather than a replaceable one.Chipolo+1

If you tell me whether you have an iPhone or Android, I can narrow this down to the best 2–3 trackers for your setup and compare prices.

Several major brands make Bluetooth trackers that use standard, user-replaceable coin-cell batteries (like CR2032 or CR1632) rather than forcing you to throw away the whole device when the power dies.

Here are the top options depending on your ecosystem (Apple vs. Android):

• Apple AirTag: Apple's tracker uses a standard, easily swappable CR2032 coin battery. You just press down on the back stainless-steel cover and twist it off. Best if you are exclusively in the iOS ecosystem and use the native Find My app. (Available at the Apple Store).
• Tile Pro (by Life360)
  • Unlike the Tile Mate or Tile Slim (which have non-replaceable sealed batteries), the high-end
  • Tile Pro [1] features an easy-to-pop-open battery door for a yearly CR2032 replacement. Tile works great for both iOS and Android.
• Pebblebee (Clip / Card / Tag) : Pebblebee offers rechargeable options, but they also make finders compatible with Apple Find My or Google's Find My Device networks depending on the exact model you pick.
• Chipolo (Point / One) : Chipolo makes colorful trackers. The Chipolo One series features a simple notch to pop the casing open and swap out a CR2032 battery. They offer models compatible with standard Chipolo apps, Apple Find My, or Google Find My Device.
• Rolling Square (AirNotch Pro): A newer keyring-style tracker designed to be cross-compatible with both Apple and Android networks that features a user-replaceable battery system.[1][2]

Are you using an iPhone/iOS or an Android device? Let me know, and I can narrow down which of these will give you the best network coverage for your wallet and keys.
