Before you launch: one important decision

If this is meant to be a real community currency, I would design its utility before deciding whether it should be freely tradable. For example, members could earn tokens by contributing, spend them on services or perks, and use them to vote on community decisions. A freely tradable token adds speculation, price volatility, liquidity requirements, and potentially additional regulatory obligations.

Let me narrow this down for your project

1. What will your token primarily do?

Reward members for participation and contributions

Unlock membership, perks, or exclusive access

Give members voting power over community decisions

Be a freely tradable social or creator token

Combine rewards, membership, governance, and trading

2. How technical do you want to get?

No-code, simplest setup possible

Some configuration or developer assistance is fine

Custom smart contract and maximum control

3. Should members be able to trade the token?

No, keep it within the community

Yes, but it should also have real community utility

Yes, open trading is a core goal

4. Where is your community today?

Already active on Discord, Telegram, X, or another platform

Primarily on Farcaster or another crypto-native social network

Starting from scratch

With those answers, I can recommend a concrete launch setup rather than just a token launchpad.

If you're thinking of a network where the NFT itself is central to the user's social identity, Lens is probably the one you're remembering. Lens profiles were designed as NFTs, making the profile portable between Lens-based applications.www.onchainstack.io+1

If instead you're thinking of the network whose token ticker is a short 3–5 letter symbol, tell me anything else you remember (the app name, logo, approximate year, or whether the token was tradable), and I can identify the specific one.
