What AI says about Vermont Legal Aid

Vermont Legal Aid provides free civil legal assistance to low-income Vermonters, handling issues such as eviction, foreclosure, health care, discrimination, disability services, civil rights, public benefits, bankruptcy, and landlord/creditor problems. They do not handle criminal matters, but help victims of crime and abuse, with five offices statewide. In addition to direct legal aid, VLA advocates for fairer laws and rules to improve access to justice for all Vermonters.
