How AI describes VetStat

VetStat is the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's database and register for all prescription medicines sold to animals in Denmark, along with the register of veterinarians, veterinary practices, and veterinary advisory service contracts. The system provides role-based access for Danish and European citizens, pharmacies, veterinarians, feed mills, herd owners, and researchers to view statements and reports on antibiotic use, animal-dose data, and product lists, with different data depending on user type. Data are reported by veterinarians and feed companies and are supplemented by pharmacy data through the Danish Health Data Authority, enabling national statistics on antibiotic consumption and veterinary medicine usage.
