What AI says about First Fund

First Fund is Canada’s most-active pre-seed investment fund, investing up to $250,000 at the pitch-deck stage to support early-stage startups by prioritizing founders and plans over traction. They position themselves as Rocket Capital, funding opportunities traditional VC often won’t back and focusing on sustainable growth with exits in the $20M–$100M range rather than unicorn-scale bets. Their portfolio spans diverse sectors—such as Hubly, Vetsie, Omnicart, Cash Live, Ekidna, and Sif—reflecting a thesis of backing capable founders to build scalable businesses.
