The Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (JOEH) publishes peer-reviewed research on occupational and environmental hygiene and safety in workplaces and communities, on behalf of the AIHA and the ACGIH. It covers studies that examine exposures, health risks, and control measures, including laboratory, field, simulations, and secondary data analyses to understand how exposures relate to health outcomes. Topics include exposure assessment methods, risk assessment and models, control design and performance, PPE assessments, emergency preparedness, and research focused on underrepresented populations; it offers a hybrid Open Select option and a manuscript submission site.
