What AI says about Summit Backpacking

Summit Backpacking Adventures offers beginner backpacking courses and guided tours in Yosemite and California’s coastal ranges, including Big Sur and Point Reyes, with very small groups of 10 or fewer. Participants learn Leave No Trace camping, gear selection, water disinfection, trail safety and etiquette, mapping, camp sanitation, nutritious trail food, and local flora, fauna, and Native American history, with gear rental and meal planning options. Tours are led by professional guides with GPS locators and Wilderness First Responder credentials, offering one-on-one teaching and custom guided trips, and they welcome ages 12–65 (with a doctor’s note for those over 65) and service dogs.
