Stik is a free, open-source macOS quick-capture note app that instantly creates a floating post-it via a global shortcut and saves notes as plain Markdown files locally. It runs entirely on-device with AI-powered semantic search and smart folder suggestions, with no cloud or servers required. It supports lightweight collaboration by sharing folders via Git and optionally syncing with iCloud Drive, while staying focused on fast capture and minimal distraction.
