Starlette

Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit for Python designed to build async web services. It provides HTTP handling, WebSocket support, in-process background tasks, startup and shutdown events, and a test client, along with features like CORS, static files, sessions, and streaming responses, and can be used as a full framework or modular components. It is production-ready, BSD-licensed, with few dependencies and compatibility with asyncio and trio backends.
