What AI says about Shifter

Shifter is a publication and program that convened public dialogues and produced works exploring themes at the intersection of contemporary art, theory, and experimental writing. Founded in 2004 by Premnath and programmed by Sreshta Rit Premnath and Avram Alpert, it published issues 1–25 and released its final issue in 2021. Although its online store is permanently closed, publications remain purchasable by email, and the project included collaborations such as the Project for an Archive of the Future Anterior.
