What AI says about Scisters Salon & Apothecary

Scisters is San Diego’s first zero waste salon, offering toxin-free beauty services and bulk, refillable, and packaging-free products for a low-waste, conscious lifestyle. It emphasizes sustainability in every aspect—from bulk shampoos and styling products to recyclable glass and aluminum packaging—and partners with Green Circle to divert beauty waste, including using hair clippings for oil spill cleanup and turning leftover color into energy. Founded in 2010 by Melissa Parker and Easton Bajsec, Scisters commits to continuous improvement, social responsibility, and community impact as it helps guests reduce waste and integrate wellness into their beauty routines.
