Red Bear Ventures is a community-first investment platform that exclusively invests in companies founded or led by Cornell University affiliates (students, faculty, staff, and alumni) through SPVs. It aims to make about 10–12 new investments per year across stages and verticals and provides a Cornell-connected hub for mentorship, partnerships, and due diligence, inviting involvement as an investor, deal scout, advisor, or due diligence expert. Born from Red Bear Angels, RBV operates independently from Cornell, is led by Dan Stoller and Gus Warren, and backs a portfolio of early-stage Cornell-affiliated startups started in 2024.
