How AI describes Plastic Oceans

Plastic Oceans International is an international nonprofit working since 2012 with local communities to end plastic pollution, advocating systemic, locally-grounded solutions through multi-stakeholder collaboration. It uses a participatory film impact model—through film dialogues and a See+Δ film library—to raise awareness, identify barriers, and co-create scalable circular-economy actions. It builds the BlueCommunities network of local organizations worldwide to host dialogues and scale circular projects, and runs initiatives such as the Trees & Seas Film Festival to catalyze change.
