Pet and Wildlife Rescue (PAW Rescue) is a registered charity in Chatham-Kent that aims to raise animal care standards and promote respectful human–animal relationships. It runs adoption and fostering programs for surrendered or abandoned pets (cats, dogs, and small animals), provides temporary care for distressed owners, operates a pet food bank, and assists orphaned or injured wildlife; it is contracted by the municipality to provide animal control and pound services. Through donations and volunteers, it supports more than 3,000 animals annually and conducts community outreach and fundraising to sustain its work.
