How AI describes PartCrafter

PartCrafter is an AI-powered tool that converts a single RGB image into multiple editable 3D part meshes, producing 4–16 explicit triangle meshes per object for animation, 3D printing, or robotics. It uses compositional latent diffusion transformers with local-global hierarchical attention to disentangle each part into its own latent token set while preserving intra-part detail and overall object coherence. The project provides a rapid, one-shot generation workflow (about 30 seconds per image) with pre-trained models and a GitHub-ready pipeline to download, install, and run.
