What AI says about OpenVPP

OpenVPP is a software platform that connects your smart thermostat, battery, EV charger, and other distributed energy resources to your local energy grid to earn incentives and help create a reliable, clean energy future. The platform automatically optimizes these devices to reduce energy bills, provide rewards for grid flexibility, and increase home resilience while supporting higher shares of renewable energy. OpenVPP acts as a turnkey VPP solution that aggregates diverse DERs into prosumer-created sub-VPPs for ongoing wholesale market participation, with an open, device-agnostic approach and transparent controls.
