What AI says about NIST SP 800-171

The publication provides recommended security requirements for protecting the confidentiality of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in nonfederal systems and organizations. It is intended for use by federal agencies in contracts or other agreements with nonfederal entities and can be used with NIST SP 800-171A for assessing compliance procedures. As a NIST cybersecurity standard, it supersedes SP 800-171r2 and is freely available for planning, implementation, and transition of CUI protections.
