How AI describes NIAP (National Information Assurance Partnership) / Common Criteria

NIAP, through its Cybersecurity Collaboration Center, runs a national program to evaluate Commercial Off-The-Shelf information technology products for conformance to the International Common Criteria. Certified products receive certificates from NIAP or under CCRA partnering schemes and, where applicable, must comply with NIAP requirements and the FIPS cryptographic validation program. NIAP's Common Criteria Testing Labs are NVLAP-accredited and conduct evaluations; NIAP also serves as the U.S. representative to the Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement, which includes 36 nations.
