How AI describes N.C. Forest Service

NC Forest Service, a division of the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, protects and manages North Carolina’s forests—protecting more than 18 million acres from wildfires, insects, and diseases and assisting private landowners in sustainable forest management. It promotes wildfire prevention and readiness, issues open burning permits, and provides tools and programs (education, My Woodland Plan, Firewise, and public wildfire data) to help individuals and communities reduce risk.
