Missing Maps is an open, collaborative project that aims to put vulnerable communities on the map by mapping areas where disasters and crises affect people, enabling responders to make time-critical, data-driven relief decisions. The project provides beginner-friendly mapping guidance, supports organizing and joining mapathons, and uses OpenStreetMap for collecting and using field data. Donations support local mapping, tools, and processes, and help scale the work so more humanitarian organizations have access to maps and open data.
