TorchForge is a PyTorch-native library for reinforcement learning post-training and agentic development, designed so researchers can express RL algorithms as pseudocode rather than deal with infrastructure. It is built on Monarch, a single-controller distributed framework that orchestrates clusters like a single machine, providing actor meshes, fault tolerance, and RDMA-based data transfers, and it integrates vLLM for inference, TorchTitan for training, and TorchStore for distributed tensor storage. The project is experimental and comes with Getting Started guides, tutorials, and API references, with validation from Stanford, CoreWeave, and Scale.
