Cost Management and Billing's anomaly detection helps identify anomalies and unexpected changes in Azure cloud costs by comparing daily usage to a forecast based on the last 60 days, using a WaveNet-based model. It lets you drill into underlying data to investigate spikes and dips—view daily usage by resource group and examine changes categorized as new costs, removed costs, or changed costs. You can create anomaly alerts to be notified automatically, and Cost Analysis is free for Azure subscriptions (note: anomaly alerts are not available for Azure Government).
