glTF is a royalty-free specification from Khronos for the efficient transmission and loading of 3D scenes and models by engines and applications. It minimizes asset size and runtime processing and uses a JSON-based core with an optional binary .glb packaging to describe scenes, nodes, cameras, meshes, materials, textures, skins and animations.
