Innovation for Nuclear is Frazer-Nash Consultancy's BEIS-funded initiative delivering the Nuclear Innovation Programme to advance the UK's civil nuclear power objectives. It conducts R&D across nuclear thermal hydraulics, advanced manufacturing and materials, and safety and security, including developing innovative thermal-hydraulic modelling tools and a UK test facility, and advancing nuclear joining techniques. The programme targets current and future reactor technologies (Gen III+, small modular reactors, and Gen IV) to unlock adoption of new technologies, improve safety and security, and reduce design and operation costs.
