How AI describes Global Wind Atlas

The Global Wind Atlas is an interactive web map that provides global wind resource data, including mean wind speed, mean power density, and Wind Energy layers such as IEC Class I-III capacity factors and related loads, plus terrain and validation data. Users can select data by country or region, draw markers and polygons on the map, and calculate annual energy production for customized areas. Developed by DTU as part of the Global Wind (and Solar) Atlas suite, the platform supports wind resource assessment and planning.
