SanitAI is a drop-in proxy that acts as secure middleware between OpenAI API clients and OpenAI services, automatically detecting and removing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from messages. It preserves the original context and meaning of user content while sanitizing data, so the OpenAI API only sees redacted placeholders. It can be deployed easily as a Docker-based proxy (with ARM/Apple Silicon support) to integrate with existing OpenAI workflows.
