What AI says about DeepCT

DeepCT is an open-source project that uses BERT to generate context-aware term weights for documents and queries to improve first-stage information retrieval. It implements context-aware term weighting for ad-hoc search, as described in its arXiv 2019 paper on sentence/passage term importance and its WebConf 2020 paper on document term weighting. The HDCT extension expands the approach to long documents and weakly-supervised training.
