WISDEM is a wind-plant integrated system design and engineering model—a suite of models for estimating the overall wind plant cost of energy (COE). It combines wind turbine and plant cost data, energy production, and financial models to estimate COE and other wind-plant attributes. The framework is Python-based, built on OpenMDAO, and uses multiple sub-models to perform integrated design and engineering analysis.
