What AI says about Cognitive Kernel-Pro

Cognitive Kernel-Pro is an open-source framework from Tencent AI Lab for building deep research agents and agent foundation models, designed to leverage as many free tools as possible (the Google Search API is the only paid tool and can be swapped for DuckDuckGo). It provides a fully reproducible supervised fine-tuning (SFT) training recipe that outperforms RL-based models like WebDancer and WebSailor, without relying on reinforcement learning. The project includes an agent environment and web server components, plus published technical reports on data synthesis and scaling methods for deep research agents.
