What AI says about BiMediX

BiMediX is the first bilingual medical mixture-of-experts large language model designed for seamless English-Arabic medical interactions, enabling multi-turn chats, symptom/history inquiries, and various QA formats. The project provides downloadable models on HuggingFace and introduces the BiMed1.3M Arabic–English dataset plus a semi-automated translation pipeline to support high-quality medical text translation and benchmarking. Developed by MBZUAI, BiMediX was accepted to EMNLP 2024 Findings, with demos live and code/datasets announced as coming soon.
