What AI says about Gecko

Gecko is a tool for effective annotation of human conversations, enabling efficient segmentation of the voice signal by speaker and annotation of the linguistic content. It presents the outputs of automatic segmentation and transcription in an intuitive user interface for editing and supports annotating Voice Activity Detection (VAD), diarization, speaker identification, and ASR outputs at scale to produce faster, more accurate annotated datasets. As of November 2025, the project is deprecated and archived, no longer actively maintained, and intended for historical reference rather than new development.
