How AI describes Georgia Statewide Minority Business Enterprise Center

The Georgia MBDA Business Center, affiliated with Georgia Tech, supported minority-owned and small businesses in Georgia by helping them access capital, increase profitability, and scale their operations. It offered programs and services such as access to markets and opportunities, matchmaking and networking, and capacity-building across sectors like manufacturing and health care. In April 2025, the center’s cooperative agreement was terminated by the U.S. Department of Commerce and it was ordered to cease operations, ending its direct services, though it previously reported helping clients win more than $7B in contracts and create or save over 8,000 jobs.
