What AI says about Gender Shades

Gender Shades assesses how accurately commercial AI face-gender classification services from IBM, Microsoft, and Face++ determine a person’s gender. The project provides results, a dataset, and a research paper produced by a MIT Media Lab team in collaboration with the Algorithmic Justice League. Its goal is to fight bias in AI and advance algorithmic fairness.
