What AI says about Future of Life Foundation

The Future of Life Foundation is a nonprofit affiliated with the Future of Life Institute that aims to steer transformative technology toward benefiting life and reducing existential risks. It identifies gaps in the landscape, determines which new organizations should exist, recruits leaders to found those initiatives, and provides support to help launch them. The foundation aims to start 3 to 5 new organizations per year, coordinating ideas, funding, and people, led by President Anthony Aguirre and a board including Max Tegmark, Jaan Tallinn, and Meia Chita-Tegmark.
