Europe PMC is a free, comprehensive search portal for life-sciences literature, aggregating articles, preprints, and related resources from global trusted sources. It provides researchers and developers with tools such as RESTful APIs for articles and grants, SciLite annotations, ORCID integration, and options for bulk downloads and annotation submission. Developed by EMBL-EBI with support from the Europe PMC Funders' Group in collaboration with NLM as part of the PubMed Central international archive, it is recognized as an ELIXIR Core Data Resource and Global Core Biodata Resource with long-term data preservation.
