Exploring for the Future was a Geoscience Australia program (2016–2024) that aimed to transform Australia’s geology and support evidence-based decisions through new data and tools. It provided the Data Discovery Portal, giving public access to historical and new geoscience data and tools, with curated personas for government, academia and industry. In July 2024, the program concluded and was succeeded by the Resourcing Australia’s Prosperity initiative to continue delivering its impacts and datasets.
