What AI says about Diversity Hire

DIVERSITY HIRE LTD is a production banner founded in 2021 by writer-producer April Shih and Jen Goyne Blake that aims to cultivate a community of artists and elevate diverse voices in film and television. It uses a unique development process that holds space for an artist’s inner life, curates personalized programming and retreats, and promotes artist authorship and ownership. Its first project is the film Joyland by Saim Sadiq, the first Pakistani feature to premiere at Cannes, and the company seeks to reclaim diversity as the full spectrum of feeling and experience.
