The Digital Governance Council (DGC) and its Digital Governance Standards Institute (DGSI) promote trust in Canada’s digital economy by advancing digital sovereignty and a suite of CAN/DGSI digital governance and cybersecurity standards. They offer an independent trustmark and a range of validation and verification programs—such as AuditPrep and programs like ImpactReady, ElectionReady, DigitalReady, DataReady, TradeReady, and AIReady—to help organizations, especially SMEs, develop digital policies and collect evidence to meet the standards. They work with managed service providers nationwide to deliver these programs and support initiatives like the Sustainable IT Pledge.
