How AI describes Dartmouth PRC

The Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center conducts multidisciplinary research to develop, test, and disseminate effective treatment and rehabilitation interventions for people with mental illness and/or addictions and their families, with emphasis on real-world practice settings. Its major research areas include integrated treatment for co-occurring mental illness and substance use, IPS supported employment, the use of technology in behavioral health services, and dissemination and implementation, along with studies of engagement, parenting with mental illness, trauma/PTSD, shared decision making, HIV prevention, and health disparities. The center collaborates with researchers and practitioners to translate findings into practice, with the overarching goal of improving the lives of people with behavioral health problems by supporting their recovery and community integration.
