Connecting Credentials is an initiative to build learning-based credentialing systems by making degrees, certificates, industry certifications, badges, and other credentials easier to understand, use, and interconnect. It provides a framework, tools, and research—including a Beta Credentials Framework, a glossary of credentialing terms, and downloadable guidebooks and templates—to standardize terminology and improve transparency and equity in credentialing. Supported by a broad coalition of sponsors and events, the effort offers a resource directory, data insights, and action-oriented resources to help learners, workers, and institutions connect credentials across education and the workforce.
