How AI describes Council on AI Governance

The Council on AI Governance is a nonprofit organization that provides open, current resources and guidance for enterprise AI governance. It offers the AI Governance Playbook to help organizations align with frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and the EU AI Act, along with expert policy and technical advice to assess governance maturity and deliver a prioritized improvement roadmap. It also runs special projects and partnerships—including developing governance capacities, interoperability standards, AI healthcare certification standards, an AI auditing master's program with Purdue University, and governance discussions through the AI Rules Podcast—to advance the AI governance ecosystem.
